Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento announced Wednesday it would temporarily close through the end of March to help stall the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The casino said the decision is a precautionary measure that will begin March 19, affecting all of its gaming, restaurant and busing operations in Yuba County. All events through April 15 are also canceled.

Hard Rock said it will continue compensation and benefits for its employees during the closure. Around 70 percent of its employees reside in Sacramento, Yuba and Sutter counties.
